First class product and company

Safe Style has shown themselves to be an ethical company who stand behind their products.
I need a pair of safety glasses to protect against aggressive dusts in my work environment, while the first pair of glasses I purchased mentioned dust protection I felt it was inadequate for my needs.
The company provided another pair of glasses to try, that I would suggest are best in class, certainly better then the Bolle pair I previously had.
Great work Safe Style, good to see there are still Australian companies that produce quality products and have good business sense.

Great concept

These are suited perfectly for my type of work but unfortunatly not my head i found the elastic strap has to be all the way out as i have a big head and when wearing a hat the buckle digs into my ears, also they push too hard on my nose, ive had a another pair that i found the glass were really unscratchable, these ones only took me a week and im already scratching them when i clean them , sorry but i wanted to be thorough with my review.

Great Lenses

Lenses are very clear with no parallax errors.
Seal is a good fit for me and even better with the use of elastic strap.
I use these in the Grain Industry which is a great test for any sealed glasses because of the dusty environment.

Are Switches certified safety glasses?
Yes. Switches are independently certified to AS/NZS 1337.1, the Australian and New Zealand standard for occupational eye protection, at medium impact level. The frame and lens are tested to withstand a 6mm steel ball at 45 m/s, along with optical clarity, coverage and durability requirements. Look for the five-tick StandardsMark on the packaging or frame, and if your workplace needs proof, you can download our certificate from the Certifications page on our website. Please note: Switches aren't rated for chemical splash, welding or high-impact tasks that call for chemical goggles or a face shield, so always check your site's PPE requirements.
How do I switch between glasses and goggles?
Switches are two pairs in one. In glasses mode, wear them with the arms like normal wrap-around safety glasses. When the job changes, swap the arms for the strap, which snaps on for a full-lock hold, and fit the removable gasket to turn them into goggle-style protection that seals against your face. That blocks dust, wind and flying debris, ideal for mining, demolition, cutting, sanding, earthmoving and dusty roads. Gaskets and straps are also sold separately as replacements, so you can refresh them when they wear out.
What's the difference between Switches and Converts?
Both give you sealed, goggle-style protection with a removable gasket, but they work differently. Switches have a wrap-around frame for maximum coverage, and in goggle mode the strap replaces the arms entirely for a full-lock hold, which makes them great for heavy-duty, high-movement work. Converts have a flatter frame for a sleeker, everyday look, and their strap goes over the arms for extra grip. If you want the most protection and a goggle-style fit, choose Switches. If you want glasses that look more like everyday eyewear with a sealing option, choose Converts.
What is the clear lens best for, and when shouldn't I use it?
The clear lens is best for indoor work, workshops, healthcare and overcast days where you want maximum light and natural vision, while still blocking UV (UV400). It has no tint, so it won't cut brightness or glare in strong sun. For bright outdoor conditions, choose a tinted, polarised or Hybrids lens instead.
Will Switches fit me?
Switches have a wrap-around design that suits most adult head sizes. In goggle mode, the adjustable strap lets you tighten the fit, and the gasket should sit evenly around your eyes without gaps for the best seal. If you need a bigger frame for everyday wear, try Fusions XL or Primes. Frame measurements are in the sizing guide on this page.
What are Switches made of, and what comes in the box?
Switches have impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses in a tough, metal-free frame, with a rubberised gasket for comfort and sealing. In the box you'll get your Switches, a Switches strap and a SafeStyle microfibre pouch and cleaning cloth. To keep them in good shape, rinse off dust and grit before wiping the lenses, then clean with lens cleaner and the microfibre cloth rather than your shirt. Wash the gasket regularly in warm soapy water and let it dry fully before refitting. Sealed eyewear can fog when you're working hard, and our Anti-Fog Spray helps keep the lenses clear.
Can I wear Switches over my prescription glasses, or get them in prescription?
Switches aren't designed to fit over regular glasses. Stacking two pairs breaks the gasket seal, narrows your peripheral vision and makes fogging more likely. Switches aren't currently available in prescription. If you need vision correction, check out our Prescription range, where frames like Fusions, Fusions XL, Cruisers, Classics and Rapids are available with your prescription built into certified safety lenses. Rapids also have a wrap-around design for extra protection from dust.
What warranty do these come with?
These are covered against manufacturing defects for 30 days from the date of purchase. If SafeStyle confirms a fault, we'll replace the pair with the same product, or offer a credit or refund if it's unavailable. To claim, email enquiries@safestyle.com.au with your order number, a description of the fault and photos. The warranty doesn't cover scratches or damage from incorrect cleaning or storage (including storing them outside the supplied pouch), drops, heat damage, misuse, unauthorised modifications, or loss or theft. If you bought from a stockist or retailer, please make your claim through the store you purchased from. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Can I return or exchange them?
Yes. Returns and exchanges must be made within 14 days of receiving your order, and items must be unworn, in original 100% re-saleable condition and in their original packaging. Start your return through the Returns Portal on our website, where you can choose an exchange, store credit or a refund to your original payment method. Return shipping is free if you selected "Pay Now to Unlock Free Returns" or "Checkout+" at checkout; otherwise it's at your own cost. Refunds can take up to 14 business days to appear, depending on your bank. Damaged or worn items can't be returned.
