    Are Lites certified safety glasses?
    Yes. Lites are independently certified to AS/NZS 1337.1, the Australian and New Zealand standard for occupational eye protection, at medium impact level. The frame and lens are tested to withstand a 6mm steel ball at 45 m/s, along with optical clarity, coverage and durability requirements. Look for the five-tick StandardsMark on the packaging or frame, and if your workplace needs proof, you can download our certificate from the Certifications page on our website. Always follow your facility's infection control and PPE policy. For procedures with a high risk of splashes or sprays, your workplace may require a face shield or goggles.
    What makes Lites good for healthcare?
    Lites are designed specifically for our healthcare heroes. They're lightweight and perfectly balanced for long shifts, with full eye coverage for added confidence in messy situations. The lens has an anti-fog lamination, which helps when you're wearing a surgical mask or respirator, and the frame is made from a plant-based bio-polycarbonate with built-in antimicrobial technology. They're popular with nurses, doctors, dentists, vets, paramedics and lab staff, and the clear frame works with any uniform.
    What does antimicrobial mean on Lites?
    Lites are made from an innovative bio-polycarbonate with antimicrobial technology built into the material. In testing, it showed a 98.40% kill ratio against the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus. That helps reduce bacteria on the surface of your glasses between cleans, but it isn't a substitute for cleaning. Keep cleaning your Lites regularly and in line with your workplace's infection control procedures.
    What is the Lites lens best for, and when shouldn't I use it?
    Lites have a clear lens with superior optical clarity, an anti-fog lamination and UV410 protection, which blocks UV and some high-energy visible light up to 410 nm. They're ideal for indoor work under clinical lighting, including wards, theatres, dental surgeries, clinics and labs. The clear lens has no tint, so it won't cut brightness or glare outdoors in strong sun. For outdoor work, choose a tinted or polarised safety glass.
    Will Lites Square fit me?
    Lites Square have a lightweight, square/rectangular frame with a comfortable, balanced fit that suits most adult head sizes and sits well with masks and caps. If you'd prefer a different look, Lites also come in a round style, Lites Round. Note that Lites need our XL Hard Case, as the standard case won't fit.     What comes in the box, and how do I clean Lites?
    Your Lites Square come with a SafeStyle cleaning cloth and pouch. To clean them, rinse off any debris, then clean with mild soap and water or lens cleaner and dry with the microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cloths, paper towel and harsh chemicals, which can scratch the lens or wear down the anti-fog lamination. Store them in the pouch or an XL Hard Case between shifts.
    Can I wear Lites over my prescription glasses, or get them in prescription?
    Lites aren't designed to fit over regular glasses. Stacking two pairs compromises fit, narrows your peripheral vision and makes fogging more likely. Lites aren't available in prescription. If you need vision correction, check out our Prescription range, where frames like Fusions, Cruisers, Classics and Skylines are available with your prescription built into certified safety lenses.
    What warranty do these come with?
    These are covered against manufacturing defects for 30 days from the date of purchase. If SafeStyle confirms a fault, we'll replace the pair with the same product, or offer a credit or refund if it's unavailable. To claim, email enquiries@safestyle.com.au with your order number, a description of the fault and photos. The warranty doesn't cover scratches or damage from incorrect cleaning or storage (including storing them outside the supplied pouch), drops, heat damage, misuse, unauthorised modifications, or loss or theft. If you bought from a stockist or retailer, please make your claim through the store you purchased from. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
    Can I return or exchange them?
    Yes. Returns and exchanges must be made within 14 days of receiving your order, and items must be unworn, in original 100% re-saleable condition and in their original packaging. Start your return through the Returns Portal on our website, where you can choose an exchange, store credit or a refund to your original payment method. Return shipping is free if you selected "Pay Now to Unlock Free Returns" or "Checkout+" at checkout; otherwise it's at your own cost. Refunds can take up to 14 business days to appear, depending on your bank. Damaged or worn items can't be returned.
