With support from our amazing community of customers SafeStyle quickly outgrew our original worksite. Well that, and Dad wanted us out of the house. SafeStyle is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Wholesale Marketing Manager with strong go-to-market (GTM) expertise to lead marketing initiatives that elevate our brand and drive sales across Australia and New Zealand.

From trade and tool stores to best in class optometrists, we’re stocked in 1300+ locations across Australia and New Zealand and we’re just getting started.

You’ll report to the Brand Manager and take the wheel on all things product launches, campaigns, brand messaging - driving growth, creativity, and consistency across our wholesale network.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

We all got 'em. Skills that put the bank in the back pocket. We’re after someone who’s been around the marketing block; and still hungry for growth. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of the following (but not limited to):

  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing management (wholesale, trade, or retail).
  • Proven experience in go-to-market strategy and product launch execution.
  • A strong attention to detail - You're known as a bit of a hawk eye.
  • A confident grasp of channel marketing and brand activation.
  • Killer communication and relationship skills - partners love working with you.
  • Solid understanding of campaign performance, insights and budgets.
  • Experience within lifestyle, safety, eyewear, or action-sport brands (big plus!).
  • Confidence working across digital, CRM and asset management tools.
  • A calm, collaborative leadership style - with enough fire to keep things moving.

We know it's hard to tick all the boxes (so don't worry too much if you don't) but if you want to upgrade your status to full-blown legend, you’ll be around the points below:

  • You may come from a safety, surf, lifestyle, adventure, action sports, or hardware background (we’re sure there are others we haven’t thought of)
  • Background in the protective eyewear market
  • Experience in wholesale operations, POS, and marketing strategies

There is no ‘I’ in team - we leave ego at the door - as we are all continually learning, and everyone has something to contribute.

Will include managing the following Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Leading go-to-market (GTM) planning and execution for product launches and campaign messaging.
  • Managing all wholesale marketing activity - from promotions and events to partner activations.
  • Creating and coordinating marketing collateral, POS and merchandising solutions.
  • Partnering with Sales and Brand teams to align campaigns, messaging and execution.
  • Leading a 12 month events calendar events with flair and precision.
  • Driving partner engagement and co-marketing initiatives with major retailers.
  • Managing the Wholesale Marketing team as well as collaborating across creative, digital, and sales functions.
  • Tracking performance metrics, ROI and campaign impact.
  • Managing budgets, timelines, and reporting - making sure dollars drive results.
