With support from our amazing community of customers SafeStyle quickly outgrew our original worksite. Well that, and Dad wanted us out of the house. Fast-forward a few years and we’re growing rapidly and need to put out a call for help.

Are you a legend who loves seeing brands come to life in-store?
SafeStyle is looking for a hands-on Wholesale Marketing Lead to support how our brand shows up across wholesale, retail, optical and commercial channels in Australia and New Zealand.
We’re stocked in 1,300+ locations - from tool and trade stores to premium optometrists; and this role is about helping drive sell-through, supporting partners and making sure campaigns actually land where it matters: in-store and in-market.
If you enjoy working closely with Sales, getting out on the road and making sure marketing execution is on point, this one’s for you.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.

We all got 'em. Skills that put the bank in the back pocket. We’re after someone who’s been around the marketing block; and still hungry for growth. Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of the following (but not limited to):

  • 3–5 years’ experience in marketing, trade, wholesale, retail or B2B roles
  • Exposure to retail marketing, POS or merchandising (hands-on experience preferred)
  • Comfortable working closely with Sales and partners
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Confident communicator - in stores, with reps, and internally
  • Willingness to travel and get hands-on
  • Interest in lifestyle, safety, eyewear or consumer brands
  • Collaborative mindset and a get-stuck-in attitude

We know it's hard to tick all the boxes (so don't worry too much if you don't) but if you want to upgrade your status to full-blown legend, you’ll be around the points below:

  • You may come from a safety, surf, lifestyle, adventure, action sports, or hardware background (we’re sure there are others we haven’t thought of)
  • Background in the protective eyewear market
  • Experience in wholesale operations, POS, and marketing strategies

There is no ‘I’ in team - we leave ego at the door - as we are all continually learning, and everyone has something to contribute.

Will include managing the following Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Wholesale Marketing Execution
  • Support the delivery of wholesale and B2B campaigns aligned to brand priorities
  • Help roll out product launches and promotions into retail, optical and trade partners
  • Assist in building simple launch plans, timelines and activation checklists
Sales & Partner Support
  • Work closely with the Sales team to support account needs and priorities
  • Prepare and maintain:
    • GTM tools
    • Activation kits
    • Sell-in decks
    • Trade education materials
  • Support partner activations and co-marketing initiatives
Retail & Merchandising
  • Help manage national POS and merchandising execution, including:
    • Displays
    • Ticketing
    • Signage
    • In-store assets
  • Coordinate with designers and suppliers to deliver retail materials
  • Visit stores with Sales to:
    • Check merchandising execution
    • Support campaign rollouts
    • Capture feedback and insights
On-the-Road & Field Support
  • Travel with Sales Reps to understand the sales process and customer needs
  • Attend retail visits, trade events, roadshows and activations
  • Act as a SafeStyle brand ambassador in the field
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Track basic campaign and sell-through performance
Gather insights from the field and share with Brand, Sales and Product teams
Support continuous improvements to execution and merchandising
