Returns

We take great pride in our Safetyle protective eyewear product and are confident that upon receipt of your purchase, you will find them to exceed your expectations. However, if you decide to return your purchase, we will gladly exchange or refund any item. Please know that all returned products must be in 100% re-salable condition

If your SafeStyle protective eyewear has been damaged in transport please email us and we will happily replace the damaged items after assessment.

Returns for credit or exchange may be made by sending your request to enquiries@safestyle.com within 5 days of receipt of shipment. We will send you a confirmation email that includes the address where you should return the item. The item must be shipped back within 4 days of receiving the confirmation email. All returns must be in original condition. Repackage the item as securely as possible. You are responsible for shipping including cost. We recommend shipping via registered post with Australia Post. Items returned damaged or after 14 days of original purchase will not be accepted and will be returned at the customer’s expense. Please make sure that your name and address are clearly printed on the outside of the package, and send it to the address provided in the confirmation email. You will receive email confirmation when we receive your returned product.

All returns must be in original condition and have all original paperwork along with receipt. Damaged or worn product cannot be returned. Shipping cost will not be refunded.

Warranty

SafeStyle Protective Eyewear

All protective eyewear supplied by SafeStyle Pty Ltd (SAFESTYLE®) is constructed of polycarbonate frames and polycarbonate lenses. Each component of SAFESTYLE® sunglasses is individually quality-checked before being packaged and sold. Whilst polycarbonate is the most scratch-resistant lens material available for protective eyewear, it is not scratch-proof.

All SAFESTYLE® non-prescription protective eyewear includes a warranty as set out below. These warranty terms are strictly subject to the provision of an invoice verifying proof of purchase. Except for loss or damage caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct (as reasonably determined by SAFESTYLE®), if a frame is damaged and you notify us in writing within 30 days of its date of purchase, SAFESTYLE® will replace the damaged frame with a frame of equivalent specifications free of charge (including delivery). Except for loss or damage caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct (as reasonably determined by SAFESTYLE®).

SafeStyle Prescription Protective Eyewear

All SAFESTYLE® prescription protective eyewear includes a warranty as set out below. It should be noted that the medium impact certified prescription safety glasses are certified to Australian and New Zealand standards 1337.6 and the manufacturer warranties are specific for these countries.

These warranty terms are strictly subject to the provision of an invoice verifying proof of purchase. Except for loss or damage caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct (as reasonably determined by SAFESTYLE®), if a frame is damaged and you notify us in writing within 180 days of its date of purchase, SAFESTYLE® will replace the damaged frame with a frame of equivalent specifications free of charge (including delivery). Lenses deemed not mistreated, as reasonably determined by SAFESTYLE, but rendered unusable due to manufacturer fault, will have the complete pair replaced to the same specifications, within a period of 180 days from original purchase.

If a lens is scratched to the extent that it is deemed unsafe for its intended use (as reasonably determined by SAFESTYLE®) and you notify us in writing within 90 days of its date of purchase, SAFESTYLE® will offer a 50% discount on a replacement pair of protective eyewear of equivalent specifications.

In the event of a prescription change, SAFESTYLE® will replace the complete frame and lens at a 50% discount, within 60 days.

SafeStyle Essential Range

SAFESTYLE® Worksite To Weekend Flap Caps are considered faulty if they arrive damaged or if a manufacturing defect arises within 30 days of purchase. Please be aware that items damaged by you, through other means, or due to normal wear and tear are not classified as faulty.

Your SAFESTYLE® Big Juicy water bottle is engineered to last and to back this we offer a limited warranty of defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from purchase date.

The warranty covers any manufacturing faults or defects like leaking, product not insulating hot and cold properly or rough irregular applications on your bottle.

The 1-year limited warranty does not cover general or normal wear and tear including scratching, dents or damage from accidental dropping of your Big Juicy or damage from improper incorrect use and third-party post-manufacturing modifications.

If you wish to exchange a defective item, please be aware that we can only provide a replacement with the same product in the same size, contingent upon availability. Whenever feasible, we'll propose repairing defective items. In cases where repair or replacement is not feasible, you are entitled to a complete refund.

SafeStyle Merch & Accessories

SAFESTYLE® Merch (caps, stickers etc.) or Accessories (lanyards, hardcases etc.) are considered faulty if they arrive damaged or if a manufacturing defect arises within 30 days of purchase. Please be aware that items damaged by you, through other means, or due to normal wear and tear are not classified as faulty. Please be aware that we can only provide a replacement with the same product in the same size, contingent upon availability. Whenever feasible, we'll propose repairing defective items. In cases where repair or replacement is not feasible, you are entitled to a complete refund.

In Addition

Please note that at present, we're only facilitating returns for faulty items within Australia & New Zealand, as we are not shipping outside of this region.

The SAFESTYLE® warranty policy does not cover the following:

  • Damage caused by natural disaster
  • Accidental loss or theft

Duty of care tips

a) Lenses should be cleaned with a microfibre cloth. Do not use towels, clothing, or other fabrics, as these can damage the lens and may cause rub marks or scratches over time. Use a lens-safe spray or water only. Excessive exposure to heat or storing your glasses in hot environments may damage the lens surface and coatings.

b) Avoid excessive rubbing of the lens and avoid corrosive materials i.e., chlorine-treated water, salt water or aerosol sprays containing propane such as hair spray, paints, solvents, and sun cream. If any of these substances do touch your lenses, clean them with the microfibre lens cloth and either water or a lens-safe spray.

c) Always keep sunglasses in their protective case when you are not wearing them. Extreme heat or cold may cause lens or frame damage. Avoid leaving them in a car on a hot day.

Australian Consumer Law

All SAFESTYLE® protective eyewear is covered by guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. All warranty claims must be submitted to enquiries@safestyle.com.au
